Damage and Loss Policy

Voilà Laundry does NOT assume responsibility for inherent weaknesses or defects in materials which may result in tears or development of small holes in fabric that are not readily apparent prior to processing. In dry-cleaning and laundering we cannot guarantee against color loss, color bleeding, and shrinkage; or against damage to weak and tender fabrics.

 

Voilà Laundry’s liability with respect to any damaged items shall not exceed ten (10) times our charge for cleaning that garment regardless of brand or condition excluding leather, suede and household items which are at customers own risk at all times. No claims for damages will be recognized unless you provide written notification (via email) within forty eight (48) hours of collecting the garments.

 

Trimmings - buttons, beads, belts etc.

All such items are cleaned at the owner’s risk, as Voilà Laundry will not take responsibility under any circumstances.

 

Collection Of Items for Dry Cleaning and Laundering by Voila Laundry

Voilà Laundry will collect items deposited into one of our lockers within 24 hours from the receipt of a client/customer text message notifying Voilà of a new order. Voila will provide an automated SMS or e-mail response notifying the customer that their order has been received. Orders placed before 9am will be picked up same day; however, all clothing will be picked up within 24 hours of the order being placed.

Collection Of Items for Dry Cleaning and Laundering by Client/Customer

In the event that clothing is not retrieved within 48 hours from when the client/customer receives an electronic invoice requesting payment, a fee of $5 may be assessed each day thereafter (e.g., 96 hours after receipt of electronic invoice may result in a $10 charge to the client/customer’s credit card. If items are not collected within thirty (30) days we reserve the right to dispose of them as we see fit and shall not be held liable for any loss that you may suffer in such an event.

 

Personal Items

Please check all of your garments for money, jewelry or other valuables prior to placing them in our lockers. If we find any valuables in your garments, we will make every effort to return them to you but we cannot be held liable for the loss of any such articles that are forwarded to us.

 

Barcodes
Voilà Laundry will adhere a permanent barcode to your garments in an inconspicuous location. These barcodes are very important in helping us track your garments so that items are not lost and to ensure you are billed consistently every time. Unfortunately we cannot accommodate requests not to adhere barcodes.

 

Safe & Private Ordering

Voilà Laundry respects your privacy. We do not sell, rent, or loan any identifiable information regarding specific customers to any third party. We may use and share aggregated information when it enables us to improve and enrich our product and content offering. Any information you give us is held with the utmost care and security, and will not be used in ways to which you have not consented.

 

When you place orders with Voilà Laundry the information you provide remains private and secure. We are committed to the protection of your personal and order information and we use the latest security technology to do so.
